T J Consultants Ltd. provides a professional, documented rack system safety inspection service empowering management and employees to take charge of warehouse operations safety. Inspections need to carried out periodically dependent on type and level of use. More frequently Insurers are requesting regular, independent, accredited inspection.
The inspection itself is thorough, reliable and actionable. All inspections are carried out to the SEMA Code of Practice by a SEMA trained inspector.
A three level risk assessment allows for prioritizing maintenance schedules and budgets. On completion a detailed risk assessment report will be delivered to you highlighting areas of damage and concern.
Red: These are items which are severely damaged beyond the limitations of the SEMA Code. In such circumstances, the racking should be isolated, offloaded and quarantined until satisfactory repair or replacement is effected.
Orange: These items are damaged beyond the limitations of the SEMA Code, but not sufficiently to warrant immediate off-load of the rack. The rack should be unloaded as soon as reasonably possible and should not be in use until satisfactory repairs are effected. (within 4 weeks)
Green: These items are damaged but are within code limitations. As such, they do not pose an immediate safety risk but should be monitored and re-examined at the next review.
Satisfactory: No defects evident
